Department of Politics and International Relations offers two fully funded PhD Studentships in Government and Political Theory at the University of Leicester. The studentships will pay UK/EU tuition fees for three years and include an annual stipend (worth at least £13,590 each year) and research training support grant (worth £750 each year). Applicants applying for the studentship must have a first-class or high upper second-class honors degree in a relevant discipline. Closing date for the applications is 31st May 2013. The Department of Politics and International Relations is pleased to offer two fully-funded studentships for October 2013 entry to its Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme..  This scholarship is available for pursuing PhD degree.

Who can apply to this scholarship? Applicants must have a first
· class or high upper second
· class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline and meet the University’s standard English language entry requirements. It is expected that applicants will have a relevant Masters degree or be able to show evidence that they will achieve this before October 2013.
· These studentships are only available to applicants who are eligible to pay the UK/EU tuition fee – i.e., those who are permanently resident in the UK or another EU country.
