Awards will be made on the basis of three factors: academic promise normally represented by a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 or a graduate GPA of 3.50; professional focus and commitment; and financial need. The research areas of this scholarship are: Scholarship is available for Art Department Except Sequential Art Program or Masters with a Masters Program, Business and Managerial Science Programs (campus based programs), Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS), Communication Arts Department, Counseling Degree Programs started before Spring 2014, Criminal Justice Programs, Health and Physical Education Department, Music Department, Nutrition Department(Campus-Based Programs Only) ,Psychology Programs and Public Administration Programs
Who can apply to this scholarship? In order to be eligible to receive financial aid at Marywood University, students must meet the following requirements:
· Undergraduate and Graduate students must be accepted as matriculated degree
· seeking students. Enrichment students are not eligible for federal, state or institutional assistance.
· You must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or eligible non
· citizen.
· You must be making satisfactory academic progress toward completion of your degree.
· You may not be in default on any federal education loan or owe an overpayment of a federal education grant.
· If applicable, you must be registered for the Selective Service. – minimum GPA of 3.5 and an SAT score of 1200.
Benefits of the scholarship: Assistantships with twenty work hours per week afford tuition remission for eighteen graduate credits per academic year and a full assistantship stipend. Assistantships with ten work hours per week offer tuition remission for nine graduate credits per academic year and one-half of the full assistantship stipend.
