The Brian Perry Charitable Trust Graduate Scholarship in Science & Engineering was established by the Perry Foundation in 1999 with the first scholarship awarded for 2002. The scholarships shall be awarded each year by the University of Waikato Scholarships Committee, on the recommendation of the Selection Panel. The selection panel will consist of a representative of the Brian Perry Charitable Trust, a representative of the University of Waikato Scholarships Committee, the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in Science and Engineering, and the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies in Science and Engineering, or their nominees. In any year, no scholarships may be awarded if there are insufficient applications of appropriate merit. The Brian Perry Charitable Trust Graduate Scholarships in Science & Engineering are open to applicants who intend to enrol fulltime in 500 level papers at the University of Waikato in the first year of a Master’s or BSc (Hons) degree in the Faculty of Science and Engineering in the year of tenure.
