Scholarships are awarded during the school year at your home campus. Scholarships may be renewable for the following year if the student’s academic performance is acceptable, good progress has been made on the education research project with plans for the following year, and upon approval of the Campus Advisor/Mentor. Apply for top 2015 scholarships and financial aid positions before application deadlines.
Written notification of award of scholarship will be mailed in Fall, 2015. US students can apply for this scholarship. To be considered for a scholarship, students must be citizens of the United States pursuing certification and licensure in a Science- or Mathematics-related teaching discipline at one of the given certification grade levels. Women and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.
Education scholarships are $2,000 and are awarded during the school year at your home campus. In an effort to increase the number of students entering the teaching profession, the OSGC offers financial support through competitively awarded scholarship opportunities to full-time undergraduate and Post-Baccalaureate students in the College of Education at an OSGC participating college or university. Selection is competitive and will be based upon the applicant’s academic record, written letters of recommendation, and the applicant’s personal objective statement and education project proposal. Separate evaluation of applicants and award of scholarships will take place at each member university. The application deadline is October 15, 2015.
