The position means developing architecture-specific theoretical and methodological investigations into a dissertation. The work is expected to contribute to the strengthening of research within the core fields of architectural research and knowledge. The research topic is open within the general area, which means that Architectural design, Architecture history, as well as societal relevance and implications of Architecture could constitute areas of interest. Also an orientation towards architectural theories on urban planning or land use could be in focus for the research. We are open for artistic and/or experimental methodological research approaches.
Applicants to the PhD position must hold a master’s degree in architecture or the equivalent. Applicants also need to demonstrate an ability to undertake PhD research.
