We seek a candidate who will be engaged in research on the influence of the occupants’ behaviour on the indoor environment and energy consumption. Technical topics to be dealt with may comprise: Field studies of occupants interactions with building controls and indoor environment Questionnaire surveys covering occupants’ preferences with regard to building controls and their use. Building simulations of indoor environment and energy use Human subjects experiments in our laboratories The teaching will involve supervision of master and PhD students and will be within the research areas, but may also comprise other parts of the educational activities of the Department.
It is preferred that the candidate has profound knowledge of building simulation and experience with field investigations and questionnaire surveys. Applicants should have a master’s degree in engineering or similar and academic qualifications equivalent to a PhD degree Didactic/pedagogic training
