ScotCHEM, which represents the Scottish academic chemistry research community, has recently announced plans to create an International Graduate School that will combine world-leading research training with industry and international experience. To celebrate the launch of the ScotCHEM International Graduate School at the University of Edinburgh, the School of Chemistry is offering up to FOUR Prize Scholarships as part of the Principal’s Career Development PhD Scholarships scheme.
Applicants must be of outstanding academic merit and research potential. Applicants should possess an excellent Bachelor, or Masters degree. Non-native English Language speakers must have a high level of English with a minimum of IELTS 7.0 or equivalent. Applicants must be starting full-time PhD programmes in the School of Chemistry in 2012-13, with start dates between 1 September 2012 and 1 June 2013. Applicants must have already applied for admission to a full-time PhD research programme of study at the University.
