Scottish Funding Council for University of Glasgow is awarding MSc scholarships for students of Scotland and the European Union.  5 funded places are available. SFC Funded Places cover all tuition fees for a period of one year. The application deadline is 27 June 2014.. The University of Glasgow is pleased to announce a major funding opportunity for postgraduate students. The University has been awarded funding to support postgraduate taught places in specific programmes. These places are available for entry in September 2014 and are awarded on a competitive basis. Candidates must have an offer of a place on the programme and submit a personal statement in order to be considered for a place.. Scholarships are available for pursuing master (MSc)degree level.

Who can apply to this scholarship? Entry requirements for postgraduate taught programmes are normally a 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent (eg GPA of 3.0 or above) in a relevant subject unless otherwise specified. Additionally, a sound understanding of programme relevant core engineering principles, such as mathematics, is expected and must be demonstrated in a 2.1 or equivalent in core subject components from your Honours degree.
