These Fellowships are open to established scholars, normally in post in a UK university. In addition to pursuing personal research, the Fellows are expected to take an interest in the work of other award-holders at the BSR, particularly those in fields close to their own. They will be requested to give a public lecture.
1.Applicants must be British or Commonwealth citizens -or must be studying or have studied at postgraduate level in a Higher Education Institution in the UK, -having completed by the October 2011 not less than four years of residence in the UK; or must hold a post in a Higher Education Institution in the UK. -Proof of nationality and/or residency may be required. -Preference may be given to applicants attached to, registered at or working at a university in the UK or the Commonwealth.
